Clearing emotional issues for balanced health It has often come to my attention how many of us separate our heads, minds and emotions from our bodies. Even those who 'know' they are totally entwined can often forget and overlook this truth. When dealing with and clearing emotional issues, we need to remember that emotions can and do get trapped in the cells of our body. Within Kinesiology we work on the emotions that are relevant to the weak muscle, organ or system which is incredibly … [Read more...] about Kinesiology and the emotional body

Psoriasis is more than a skin problem
The worst case of psoriasis I have ever seen The day before I went on holiday, I saw an emergency new client at my clinic in Epsom, whom I had met just days before. She had the worst case of psoriasis that I have ever seen. Whilst chatting to both her and her Mum, I learnt that she was just about to start methotrexate treatment on the NHS. Methotrexate is a chemotherapy medication sometimes used to treat skin conditions. According to Netdoctor it works "by preventing the excessive division … [Read more...] about Psoriasis is more than a skin problem
Balancing your nervous system with Kinesiology
Do you need help balancing your nervous system? Modern life can put a heavy load on our nervous system. Just getting out of bed each morning without any extra stresses piled on top can feel like enough. Plus continual endocrine disrupting chemicals in food, toiletries and cleaning products and … [Read more...] about Balancing your nervous system with Kinesiology
Kinesiology for indigestion
A friend of mine, recently asked if I could write a Kinesiology Health Tip on indigestion. She was suffering from a burning feeling in her stomach which, she said, felt like too much acid. I wasn't far into writing the tip before I realised I wanted to share so much more with you. At best over the counter antacids only put a sticky plaster on the gaping hole of imbalance Over the years, many clients have come to me suffering from indigestion. Over the counter antacids only put a sticky … [Read more...] about Kinesiology for indigestion
Letting go and bringing in change
Kinesiology teacher talks about letting go I had a good clear out of my loft recently, I also had a rewire and spring cleaned my house. The difference in the energy within my home and myself is amazing . My home feels more spacious (even though the clearing was from the loft where we don't see the clutter). Plus, breathing feels more spacious, easier and fresher, even though I didn't know it felt stifled. Letting go of the things I no longer needed and that weren't working for me really cleared … [Read more...] about Letting go and bringing in change
Spring Cleaning
I am feeling really excited about clearing out my loft this week, sorting through all the things I have put up there and forgotten about. Finding some old treasures maybe, but also clearing out the cobwebs and just chucking all the old unwanted stuff that I thought I needed to hang on to 5 years ago but I haven’t thought about or looked at since! I love Spring time It really sparks me off to clean and have a good clear out. I so enjoy taking numerous dustbin bags out of my house to the charity … [Read more...] about Spring Cleaning

Your body may need some energy medicine in working with the electrical circuits/meridians of … [Read more...] about Our innate healing process
Wheat – A debilitating food?
What do you think can cause many unpleasant symptoms from zero energy, weight gain, depression, skin disorders, irritable bowel and needing to walk with a stick although the doctors find nothing wrong? The answer is wheat. But WHY? It has been suggested that wheat is the most inflammatory grain for our bodies. It used to grow to over 6ft and contain less gluten, more wheat germ and a lovely amount of vitamin E (our daily bread). Sadly now, with modern farming … [Read more...] about Wheat – A debilitating food?

The core of our health
Interestingly the system that is the most important to our state of health and well being is the one that is generally ignored, misunderstood and put to the bottom of the pile. Our endocrine system in a nutshell is a network of ductless glands that secrete hormones directly into the blood stream. These glands tell our bodies what to do and when to do it. How efficiently they work for us depends on whether they themselves have the tools for the job. So what are the tools for the job? No 1. … [Read more...] about The core of our health
Life and death may begin in the colon
‘You are what you eat’ the old saying goes and how can we be anything else? If you eat biscuits and drink tea all day, that’s what you are giving your body to work with, and you are far more likely to crumble! Digestion begins in the mouth, where if you chew properly the complex chains of nutrients are broken down to an acceptable level for the stomach to cope with. The Chinese say ‘drink your food and eat your drink’ in other words chew your food until it is liquid and chew your liquid as … [Read more...] about Life and death may begin in the colon
