What do you think can cause many unpleasant symptoms from zero energy, weight gain, depression, skin disorders, irritable bowel and needing to walk with a stick although the doctors find nothing wrong?
The answer is wheat.
But WHY?
It has been suggested that wheat is the most inflammatory grain for our bodies. It used to grow to over 6ft and contain less gluten, more wheat germ and a lovely amount of vitamin E (our daily bread).
Sadly now, with modern farming methods, wheat rarely grows past 3ft to fit in machinery and to produce much more ears per stem.
Most modern farmed wheat contains large amounts of gluten with little to no wheat germ and vitamin E.
All English wheat has a high mould content as it is shorter, heavier and nearer the wet damp ground. We then store it in damp storage containers so the mould is potentially an added problem.
Wheat can be made to make glue, so when we eat it our bodies can become stuck up and unable to work properly. Remember making glue at nursery with flour and water?
Whatever your symptoms it can take at least 3 weeks of 100% avoidance for the effects of wheat to get out of the cells of your body so you won’t perhaps feel or see instant results. The benefits flood in from 3-6 weeks after avoiding it and the longer you have had the problem the longer you may need to avoid it for.
Once you are symptom free you may well find you are able to eat wheat occasionally without the return of the unpleasant symptoms.
Most people lose at least half a stone, feel happier, digestion improves, skin can heal, pain often disappears along with the walking sticks!
