Covid-19 Update: We are currently adjusting our courses to follow current regulations with a mix of in-person and online training. We will update with further specifics closer to the commencement of the courses.
Who the Foundation Course is for
The Foundation course is open to all. It is designed to give you a progressive introduction to Kinesiology whether you have prior knowledge or experience in health care or not. We are all beginning a new subject. If you are an administrator, reflexologist, doctor, accountant, retailer or home keeper you will learn Kinesiology from the beginning.
The Foundation course is perfect for those that would like to benefit from Kinesiology for themselves, friends, their clients or family.
If you are already qualified in another field of health care the Foundation course certificate enables you to add Kinesiology to your current skill set, become insured and charge for your sessions.
The classes provide safe and powerful techniques that you will be able to incorporate into your life immediately without the need for extended periods of training.
Format of the course and venues
We have two intakes for the Foundation Course each year and they typically begin in February and September. The Foundation Course comprises of 6 Levels taught one weekend a month or 2 Wednesdays a month for 6 months.
Therefore you can choose to attend Saturday and Sunday, or 2 Wednesdays a month (Wednesdays only available in London).
Our main venue is the Columbia Hotel, located opposite Hyde Park in Central London. As from September 2020 our London venue will be Linden House, 60 Upper Mall, Hammersmith W6 9TA.
We also run courses at our regional venues throughout the UK.
Our Principal, Claire Muller teaches during Level 5 and Level 6 in person, exclusively at our London Kinesiology Course.

Learning Material and Certification
The classes combine explanation, demonstration and practical work. You will receive a full-colour, illustrated TASK Kinesiology Foundation Course Manual on day one. It clearly shows the basics of muscle testing and many simple yet easily applied techniques that are brought alive for you throughout the course. This is not just course material, you will use this valuable resource for years to come as a reference and support as you build your knowledge.
You are encouraged to practice in between the Levels and to write up your practice notes to create 12 case studies that will support you in receiving your Certificate. We find that even students who are completing the course for themselves also benefit hugely from doing the homework.
Syllabus: Please go here to read what you will learn in each Level.
The Foundation Certificate is issued to all those that complete the required 12 case studies and have attended all 6 Levels in order. This certificate enables you to continue your training and apply for TASK’s Practitioner Course to become a qualified registered kinesiologist and practice for a professional fee.
If you are qualified in another health modality the Foundation Course Certificate enables you to become insured and practice the Kinesiology you have learnt.
