Mental and emotional health is a much talked about topic. But the global Covid19 pandemic has put it high on the agenda. The effects of the pandemic are far reaching and we won't know the full implications until many years have passed. However, it doesn't take a scientist to tell us that grief, job loss, economic worry, concern about loss of life, isolation, and lock down … [Read more...] about Support for the Emotional Effects of Covid-19

How to Maintain an Ideal Weight
Kinesiology can help with weight issues Clients initially have Systematic Kinesiology for many different reasons, however, overtime, they often mention their diet and how to maintain an ideal weight. Some clients express they would like to lose a few pounds, that last stubborn half a stone, or have more to lose after being on countless diets. Other clients struggle to keep weight on or bulk up, which is equally challenging and frustrating for some. Rebalancing the body generally with … [Read more...] about How to Maintain an Ideal Weight
Giving and Receiving for Kinesiologists
As we are about to enter a time when we give and receive presents to loved ones it made me think about what we give and receive energetically within Kinesiology. As practitioners, we give out a lot of our energy with each treatment. We may not always acknowledge this, so I thought it would be helpful to name the ways in which we give. Do you recognise how much you give? Thoughts - Thoughts are energy and we are 100% concentrating on our clients wants and needs. In a session (and often … [Read more...] about Giving and Receiving for Kinesiologists
Pregnancy and Kinesiology
How we can support ourselves during pregnancy Last week I was asked about Kinesiology in pregnancy and birth and what role it plays, which lead me to write this post. When I was expecting I felt like I was doing a very special job as what could be more important than growing another human being? People say it’s easy because women have been doing it since time began. Well, women have been doing it since the beginning of time, although having had 5 pregnancies and been lucky enough to have … [Read more...] about Pregnancy and Kinesiology

Letting go and bringing in change
Kinesiology teacher talks about letting go I had a good clear out of my loft recently, I also had a rewire and spring cleaned my house. The difference in the energy within my home and myself is amazing . My home feels more spacious (even though the clearing was from the loft where we don't see the clutter). Plus, breathing feels more spacious, easier and fresher, even though I didn't know it felt stifled. Letting go of the things I no longer needed and that weren't working for me really cleared … [Read more...] about Letting go and bringing in change

The core of our health
Interestingly the system that is the most important to our state of health and well being is the one that is generally ignored, misunderstood and put to the bottom of the pile. Our endocrine system in a nutshell is a network of ductless glands that secrete hormones directly into the blood stream. These glands tell our bodies what to do and when to do it. How efficiently they work for us depends on whether they themselves have the tools for the job. So what are the tools for the job? No 1. … [Read more...] about The core of our health
